Pigeon Key is a small island with a big history. Once a home base for workers building Henry Flagler’s Overseas Railroad in the early 1900s, the island is now a museum and marine science center accessible via ferry or by walking the Old Seven Mile Bridge. Its restored buildings and educational tours offer a glimpse into early 20th-century life in the Keys.
Pets are not permitted on the island. Daily train tours depart at 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM.
