Islamorada Shrimp Shack has been family-owned since it opened in December 2011. It's run by mother and daughter Jill and Morgan, and it was on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in 2016.
Order the shrimp fritters with remoulade, or the shrimp and grits. Local fish comes "Senator" or "Continental" style. It's at mile marker 81.9, just down the road from World Wide Sportsman and the Transparensea glass bottom boat. It's closed Wednesdays.
Islamorada Shrimp Shack is part of Taste the Keys for October 2026, the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce's month of prix-fixe menus at Upper Keys restaurants. Lunch is $24.99 and dinner is $34.99.
