Robbie's Marina of Key West is a full-service commercial marina and boatyard on Stock Island, a few minutes from Old Town and the Key West airport. It has been family-owned since 1992, when Robbie bought the property at a government auction after it was seized. Three decades later it is one of the main yards serving the Key West commercial fishing fleet, private yachts, and everything in between.
Not to be confused with Robbie's of Islamorada, the tarpon-feeding stop at mile marker 77.5. Same family name, very different place. Nobody here is selling buckets of bait fish.
Deep, ocean-side water access that handles large commercial vessels and motor yachts. Short-term and long-term slips, dry storage, a travel lift for haul-outs, and space for owners who want to do some of their own work. The property has 24/7 surveillance and on-site security, plus parking.
It is also one of the larger deep-water ports in the Lower Keys for boats heading to Cuba, the Caribbean, and Mexico, so you will see a mix of offshore cruisers staging for the crossing alongside the shrimp boats.
Local Tip
This is not the Robbie's with the tarpon. That one is in Islamorada. This one is where boats go to get fixed, and if you need work done in Key West, call early in the week. The yard books up.
