Anne’s Beach is located at Mile Marker 73.5 on the Overseas Highway in Islamorada, Florida. This serene, family-friendly beach is known for its shallow waters, making it ideal for wading, kayaking, and enjoying peaceful surroundings. The beach is named in honor of environmentalist Anne Eaton and offers a quiet retreat in the Florida Keys.

The beach features a 1,300-foot boardwalk that winds through the mangroves, providing easy access to the water and beautiful views. Visitors can relax in the picnic areas with covered pavilions and tables or take advantage of the available restroom facilities. There are two parking lots along US-1 at Mile Marker 73.5, providing convenient access to the beach.

Anne’s Beach is open daily from sunrise to sunset. Visitors should be aware that swimming is at their own risk, as there are no lifeguards on duty. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed at all times. While the beach is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery, motorized boats and personal watercraft are not allowed, ensuring a peaceful environment.

In addition to being a quiet getaway, Anne’s Beach is a popular location for kiteboarding due to its shallow waters and consistent winds. It’s a great spot for beginners and experienced riders alike. Whether you’re looking to enjoy the tranquility of the beach, have a picnic, or try water sports, Anne’s Beach offers a peaceful setting for all visitors.
